Mujer on the Move (MOTM) empowers all Latina travelers, both solo and non, to confidently embark on trips to their motherlands and other LATAM countries. By placing LATAM and the Caribbean at the forefront of all things travel, MOTM is on a mission to deconstruct the notion heavily held in the United Sates that our motherlands are unsafe, and therefore, should not be traveled to. While it may be true that our LATAM and Caribbean motherlands are susceptible to social issues and violence, it is not their entire story. In other words, our Latinx motherlands are so much more beyond the "dangers"  constantly portrayed on U.S. news outlets. Our motherlands contain immense geographical beauty, from valleys, to oceans, to flower fields, beautiful traditions and customs, loving people. Ultimately, MOTM aims to highlight the beauty and joy that also grows within our communities in LatinoAmerica and the Caribbean so that Latina travelers can confidently, joyfully, and safely travel the lands de sus raices hermosas.
